Court Film is operated by David Aintablian. Using it — signing in, starting a match, joining a session with a code, or opening a highlight link — means you agree to these terms.
What it is
A tool for filming recreational volleyball from several phones, replaying it during the match, and tagging it afterwards. It is early software, in its first phase, offered as a personal project. It may change, break, or go away.
Your account and your matches
You need an account to make, open, tag or delete a match. Matches belong to the account that made them. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in to yourself.
Your footage
You own the video you record and upload. You give us the permission needed to store it, carry it between devices in your session, cut replays from it, and serve highlight links you make — and nothing more. You must have the right to film the people in it and to upload it here; footage you do not have that right to may be removed.
Codes and links
A session code admits any device that has it while the session is live. A highlight link plays for anyone who holds it. Share both with that in mind; we cannot take back a code that has been read across a gym or a link that has been sent.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to record people without permission, to upload content that is unlawful or that you have no right to, to interfere with the service or other people’s sessions, or to try to reach matches that are not yours. We may remove content or close accounts that break these terms.
No warranty
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Phones stop recording when they lock or switch apps, gym wifi drops, and a replay can miss the moment. The camera screen says when a recording has broken; check it before the match matters.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost footage, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us to use it, which is nothing.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above changes when we do, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
